The PROXe Proximity Badge Entry Employee Time Clock System comes complete with everything you need to simplify your employee timekeeping and payroll process by automating the recording, calculating and reporting of employees' hours. Export your timekeeping data directly to QuickBooks, ADP, PayChex, ASCII or Excel.

EASY TO USE & MANAGE: Designed specifically for small businesses transitioning from mechanical time clocks, hand written time sheets or the honor system.

EASY TO SET-UP: Begin by attaching the locking wall-mounting bracket to the wall, and then lock the time clock into place with the key. Plug in the power adaptor, connect the cable to the time clock & computer, and install the software. That's it!

The TimeCalculator PROX+ Proximity Badge Entry Employee Time Clock System
allows an employee to wave a badge within inches of the time clock to register their punch.
Proximity badges do not wear out, cannot be duplicated, and use
internal (not exposed) electronics to read the badge.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Can an employee still clock in and out at the time clock if they lose their badge? Yes.
Simply assign your employee a unique 9-digit ID code and they can use the keypad on the time clock to sign in and out until you are ready to assign them a new badge.

What is the difference between a Proximity Badge and other badges such as magnetic strip or bar code?
Proximity badges do not wear out, cannot be duplicated, and use internal (not exposed) electronics to read the card.

Can I edit employee punches or enter information at the time clock? Yes.
You can make changes at the time clock and software. The time clock allows you to edit punch data, change departments, enter tips, record and access employee information. A fully illustrated user guide is included with your system to walk you through the process step-by-step.

Will I lose my data if my computer crashes? No.
All punch data is stored on the time clock (up to 3120 punches) until downloaded to a computer where it can be saved as an Excel, Word, plain text or PDF file. Files can also be saved onto a disk or CD for recovery or review at a later date.

Does the computer need to be on all the time for the time clock to work? No.
The time clock operates normally with the computer turned off and does not require an on-going connection to a computer.

Real time systems rely on a constant connection to a computer in order to record punches. With a real time system, if your PC locks up or is shut off, the clock or cable breaks, or there is a power interruption, your employees are stranded and valuable payroll data is not recorded!
Time clock data is too important to lose, and PCs fail too frequently. As a result we use a method called Intelligent Storage where you can record and access employee information whenever you need it, with or without a functioning PC.
Intelligent Storage also gives your employees much better feedback – never leaving them feeling disconnected. When signing in or out employees are greeted with their name and on-screen instructions guiding them through their transaction. The Intelligent Storage system knows each employee's profile, allowing them to change departments, enter tips or job numbers, view their hours worked, and check their last punch right at the clock.
